… well I am here to spill the tea and let you know my honest thoughts on this product!
So let’s get into it, the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask… I am sure you have all heard of it! Winning the Allure Best of Beauty Award in 2019, this little pink tub was taking centre stage and flooding almost every beauty bloggers feed.
After this product was released and I saw all of the attention it was getting on beauty blogs and instagram, I just had to try it out for myself!
I am no stranger to moisturizing lip products. It is really freaking dry where I live, so I always find myself reaching for some form of lip balm. Burt’s Bees and Fresh Sugar Hydrating Lip Balms have always been a few of my go-to’s. But when I heard about the new Laneige Sleeping Mask… a lip mask that promises to give you perfectly hydrated lips by the time you wake up in the morning, it sounded like a match made in heaven for me!
I have been using this product for a long time now and I can honestly say that it has been a game changer for me! Keep reading to find out my honest thoughts about this product!
A little bit about the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask
The Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask is a leave-on lip treatment that is supposed to deliver intense moisture while you sleep so that you can wake up with perfectly hydrated, healthy lips. It retails for $26.00 for 0.7oz (20g).
This lip mask highlights two ingredients that make this product really stand out. First being the Berry Mix Complex which is rich in antioxidants and vitamin C for bright, healthy lips. The other being the Moisture Wrap Technology which allows the product to stay on the lips all night to deliver intense hydration that lasts.
The Pros
This lip mask is super long lasting! It visibly stays on all night, leaving my lips feeling really moisturized!
I like that this is a clear product without any pigment.
As amazing as this product is as a sleeping mask, it also works as a fabulous everyday lip balm to use throughout the day.
It is very moisturizing!
It has a light fresh scent that I really like! You can also purchase multiple different scents which is nice!
It may seem expensive, but it does truly go a long way. I have been using this product for a long time and have still barely made a dent!
My lips always feel refreshed and soft after using this lip mask, so other lip products like lipsticks sit flawlessly on my lips.
The Cons
I am not crazy about the application process of this lip mask. It comes in a tub so you need to use your finger or an applicator to apply this product which has definitely got to be my least favourite way to apply lip products.
My Overall Thoughts
I honestly don’t really have anything but positive things to say about the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask! It is super hydrating and really long lasting… and I am not kidding! It stays on my lips all night and I wake up with super soft, moisturized lips!
I love the soft scent of this product and that it creates the perfect healthy base so that my daily lip products and lipsticks sit flawlessly on my lips without any cracks or dryness.
Overall, I feel like this product is a great addition to my daily routine and I totally recommend giving it a try if you are looking for intense hydration!
