I have been a huge fan of Olaplex products since they first hit the market, so you can imagine my excitement when they finally came out with the Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo!

A little bit about the New Olaplex Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo
The Olaplex Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo is a light weight shampoo that hydrates, strengthens and neutralizes brassiness. It retails for $38.00 for 250 ml (8.5 oz).
First off, when you think of a purple shampoo, automatically you can expect it to tone your hair and neutralize any warm or brassy tones that can occur after a lightening service. This shampoo does an AMAZING job at toning the hair to enhance blonde or grey hair so it appears cool and shiny! It is super pigmented so it works fast and effectively.
The formula for this shampoo is not as thick as the original Olaplex Shampoo, but it lathers just as good! It is light weight and really hydrates the hair. You may notice that purple shampoos can have a tendency to dry out the hair, but this one is so moisturizing! It contains the ingredient Bis-Aminopropyl Diglycol Dimaleate which is what allows Olaplex products to rebuild broken or weakened bonds leaving you with strong, healthy hair!
The Olaplex Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo is also considered a clean product that is gluten free, cruelty free and does not contain any sulfates which I totally LOVE!
The Pros
- This shampoo really WORKS! It is highly concentrated so it perfectly neutralizes any warmth and brassy tones, leaving my hair looking bright and shiny!
- I love the formula of this shampoo. Not only does it tone the hair perfectly, but it also makes my hair feel really soft and healthy after I use it.
- This shampoo lathers really nicely so you don’t need to use a ton of product to get a beautiful result.
- This shampoo is super hydrating without feeling heavy.
- I love that this product helps to rebuild any broken bonds that occur after receiving a bleaching hair service.
- This product is vegan and cruelty free which I really love!
- Because this formula is so pigmented, you also don’t have to use as much product, or as often as some other purple shampoos on the market. This will save you money by not having to repurchase the shampoo as often!
The Cons
- This shampoo is SUPER concentrated so be sure to give your hands a good scrub after you use so you don’t have a purple tone to your skin.
My Overall Thoughts
Honestly, overall I am totally obsessed with the new Olaplex Blonde Enhancer Toning Shampoo!
It is truly hard to find any complaints about this product! This purple shampoo keeps my hair extremely hydrated and shiny. Not to mention, helps my hair stay strong and healthy!
I have recently started going slightly lighter with my hair colour and I love how this shampoo keeps my hair cool and bright in between salon visits.
I would absolutely recommend trying out this product if you have colour treated blonde hair and are looking to keep it bright, hydrated and healthy!
