It is without a doubt a luxury hair tool, coming in at around $700. So the question is… Is it really worth it??

Dyson Airwrap Hair Styler
Everything about Dyson products just screams quality. You honestly can’t go wrong with the brand, hence why I have been a die hard fan of Dyson products for a long time! I use the vacuums and the air purifiers… so you can imagine my excitement when they started creating hair tools.
I have been colour treating my hair for years now, so it is really important to me to use hot tools and products that will keep my hair strong and healthy! The Dyson Airwap Hair Styler does just that!
The Dyson Airwrap uses the Coanda Effect which uses air to help guide your hair around each attachment to create volume, curls or a smooth effect without the use of excessive heat. Reduced heat, less static AND an array of different hair styles can all be achieved with this one hair tool in half the time… what more can I say other than, sign me up!!!
The Dyson Airwrap Hair Styler comes with:
- The pre-styling hair dyer
- A soft smoothing brush
- A firm smoothing brush
- The volumizing round brush
- A 30mm airwrap barrel (one for each direction)
- A 40mm airwrap barrel (one for each direction)
- A leather case to store all of the attachments
Trust me, this all-in-one hair tool has every attachment you could ever need!
I have been using the Dyson Airwrap Hair Styler for about 6 months now and this is what I have discovered after using it:
The Pros:
- I love that the Dyson Airwrap is an all-in-one hair styling tool… a blowdryer, volumizing round brush, smoothing brush and curling tool. How convenient and amazing is that!?
- The technology behind the creation of this hair tool is truly unbeatable…the fantastic quality is a major positive for me!
- The Dyson Airwrap cuts both drying and styling time in half, which I love! With all of the attachments ready to use, it is super convenient and fast!
- The Dyson Airwap does not use extreme heat to help protect your hair from any damage!
- This hair tool uses negative ions that helps reduce static in the hair… I don’t know about you guys, but I absolutely love this feature as the climate where I live is extremely dry.
- The volume that you get from this hair tool is fabulous!
- It comes with a good quality case to properly store each attachment.
- It is great for drying and styling the hair, but it also super fabulous to use for a little refresh to add some extra volume on days that you don’t wash your hair.
The Cons:
- The cost is probably the biggest con for most people. BUT I believe that it can be justified, as Dyson invests millions of dollars into continuous research development to ensure that everything they create is top quality so you know that you are purchasing an amazing product.
- The curling barrels are a bit of a learning curve… it is quite different from using a traditional curling iron so it may take a little practice to get used to it.
My Overall Thoughts
So the question is… is the Dyson Airwrap Hair Styler really worth the hefty price tag in the end?? In my opinion, I absolutely think it’s worth it!!
I am completely smitten with the Dyson Airwrap Hair Styler. It truly gives you amazing volume and beautifully styled hair in less time, leaving you feeling absolutely fabulous. It has everything you could ever want in one hair tool. I love how it is less damaging than other hot tools and reduces static so my hair always feel soft and bouncy after I use it!
Yes it is expensive, but after using it for the past 6 months, I can’t imagine styling my hair without it! I totally recommend it!!
