Honestly, it doesn’t sound like much… just some glorified water perfectly bottled up and branded. Although, I am here to tell you it is so much more than that!
Micellar Water is a multipurpose skincare product that does double duty when it comes to gently cleaning and moisturizing the skin. It is made up of purified water, moisturizers and these tiny molecules called micelles. Micelles are what make this product so unique and amazing! They act like little magnets which attract dirt, oil and makeup too effectively and gently clean the skin and remove impurities in one simple step.
Today I am featuring this Product Spotlight: Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water because I truly feel like this product has benefited my skin in the best way!
You have probably seen micellar water on the shelves at your local drugstore or advertised on the TV. Thats how I came to notice the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. After incorporating this product into my skincare routine I have noticed such a positive change in my skin.

How To Use Micellar Water
Micellar Water is so versatile… it can be used as a make-up remover, cleanser, toner or to hydrate and refresh your skin throughout the day!
As a Make-Up Remover– Micellar Water is an ideal product for removing makeup because it is is super gentle, yet has powerful micelles to remove dirt, oil and makeup in one easy step. It is also great because it doesn’t contain any oils or alcohol so it is safe to use over the entire face, including the eye area. It also works great at removing lipsticks and glosses!
As a Cleanser or a Toner– Micellar Water works as a lovely, lightweight cleanser! Apply the product to a cotton pad and gently wipe over the skin to clean and remove any impurities. It can also act as a toner by cleansing without stripping the skin of its natural moisture. The best part is, there is no rinsing required!
To Hydrate & Refresh the Skin– This is my absolute favourite way to use Micellar Water! It is so gentle, yet it leaves my skin feeling extremely clean and moisturized. During the week, I don’t often wear any makeup, so I use the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water on a cotton pad to gently cleanse, hydrate and refresh my skin in the morning and throughout the day if needed. I then apply my moisturizers and spf and my skin is ready for the day! So easy and my skin feels great!
On days that I do wear makeup, I gently remove my makeup with a cleansing wipe and then afterwards I apply Micellar Water onto a cotton pad and wipe the surface of my skin to get an extra level of clean before cleansing with a face wash. This gets my skin SO clean and keeps my face feeling nice and moisturized.

When it comes down to it, Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water is simply the best, as famously sung by Tina Turner 😉
It is an extremely versatile skincare product that gently lifts away dirt, oil and makeup, while perfectly moisturizing the skin…an ideal situation if you ask me. I also absolutely love that it is formulated with ZERO alcohol, fragrances or oils so it is super gentle and great for sensitive skin.
