Who’s thirsty!?
Because today I am craving a cocktail that is a little bit sweet, tangy and totally delicious to help hang onto those last few moments of summer!
Even though we are entering what is famously known as “pumpkin spice season”… which I totally love! It still feels a little bit like summer outside, so it is only fitting that we shake up a perfectly fruity, mouthwatering margarita! Because honestly, margaritas can be enjoyed anytime of the year, if you ask me!
These unique and refreshing flavours will definitely have you craving another!
If you have been following along for a while now, you have probably noticed that margaritas are one of my favourite cocktails! You can infused them with so many flavours from juicy fruits, to aromatic herbs and anything in between. Plus they always contain TEQUILA… soooo good (in my opinion at least)!!
Todays recipe isn’t just any margarita recipe with the classic combo of tequila, cointreau and lime juice. It is full of flavour and screams summer!! You will taste a subtle sweetness from the mango and the perfect amount of tang from the passion fruit and lime juice… delish!
Mango Passion Fruit Margarita
Ingredients:
1.5 oz tequila
1/2 oz cointreau
1/2 lime, juiced
1 passionfruit (the pulp)
2 oz mango juice
Tajin for rim
Method
Into a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add the tequila, cointreau, fresh lime juice, fresh passion fruit pulp and mango juice. Shake until all of the ingredients are combined and the cocktail shaker becomes cold and frosty.
Rim a glass with tajin seasoning and fill it with ice. Strain the margarita from the cocktail shaker into the glass.
