A face moisturizer should hydrate and improve the overall appearance of your skin. It seems simple doesn’t it? But shopping for the right face moisturizer to compliment the needs of your skin can be daunting and anything but easy.
When I am searching for a face moisturizer, I always look for products that are light on fragrance, anti aging, hydrating and most importantly, clean skincare.

Fresh Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer
Okay y’all, the Fresh Lotus Anti-Aging Night Moisturizer is my number one! This product checks all of the boxes. It is rich and creamy, but doesn’t feel heavy on the skin! It retails for $68 for 1.6 oz (50 ml) of product.
This moisturizer contains super lotus which aids in reducing signs of aging on the skin and protecting it from harmful free radicals. It also contains peach leaf extract which refreshes the skin. I am guessing this must be what makes it smell so amazing as well!!
Every time I use this moisturizer, my face feels revitalized and glowy! I have been hooked since the first time I tried it! I totally recommend giving it a try! If you’re like me, you won’t be disappointed!!
Fresh Lotus Anti- Aging Daily Moisturizer
Like the night moisturizer, the Fresh Lotus Anti-Aging Daily Moisturizer is fabulous! It has more of a thinner consistency and feels ultra light while still being super hydrating. It retails for $65 for 1.6 oz (50 ml) of product.
This moisturizer reduces signs of aging and protecting the skin from harmful free radicals from super lotus and star fruit leaf extract. It also contains hyaluronic acid which is amazing for increasing the moisture within the skin.
I seriously love this moisturizer… and all of the products within the Fresh Beauty Super Lotus line for that matter. You should totally consider giving it a try!
Drunk Elephant Protini™ Polypeptide Moisturizer
The Drunk Elephant Protini™ Polypeptide Moisturizer is seriously AMAZING! The only thing that I don’t love about this moisturizer is that it retails for $89 for 1.68 oz (50 ml) of product. Although I can understand why its on the pricier side because it truly works and contains fabulous ingredients.
This moisturizer is made up of proteins to aid in anti-aging, hydration and uneven texture. It is pH balanced and fragrance free so it works super great for anyone who has sensitive skin. I love that this moisturizer is packed full of antioxidants and vitamins! Not to mention the signal peptide complex which allows amino acid peptides to bind to moisture so that the skin becomes firmer, plump and healthy!
I totally recommend this moisturizer if you are looking for a creamy, super hydrating product that is focussed on good ingredients to help better the health and appearance of your skin.
Tarte Sea Drink of H2O Moisturizer
The Tarte Sea Drink of H2O Moisturizer was a new product that I started using this year. I have been a huge fan of Tarte cosmetics over the years so it was about time that I tried out some of the skincare products. This moisturizer retails for $51 for 1.7 oz (50 ml) of product.
I have truly grown to love this “gel” moisturizer because it feels super lightweight and absorbs into my skin so nicely without feeling greasy or heavy. It contains hyaluronic acid and electrolyte balancing sea salt that both help too hydrate the skin and algae to help fight free radicals and smooth the appearance of the skin.

Tatcha Water Cream Pore Minimizing Moisturizer
I’m sure you’ve heard of the Tatcha Water Cream Pore Minimizing Moisturizer… you just can’t miss that pretty aqua blue jar!
This product has been super popular within the beauty world and for good reason! It contains Japanese nutrients and botanicals to help hydrate and improve the skins texture so that your pores appear smaller. It is a gentle formula that feels ultra light and refreshing on the skin!
Definitely give this moisturizer a try if you are looking for a lightweight, oil-free product to help moisturize and minimize pores!
